The give-away is ice building along the back of the freezer floor. Clearing the drain is a small job and it is the answer far more often than a leaking water line is. ### Inside and underneath are different repairs It is worth separating them before anybody comes out, because the causes barely overlap. Water inside the cabinet has almost always come from the defrost system. Water on the floor has come from the drain pan, the supply line or the icemaker. Not an emergency, but do not leave it. A drain that is icing is telling you about the defrost system, and that ends with a warm refrigerator eventually. ### Can I clear the drain myself?
