GE water leaking inside or underneath
Water inside the cabinet and water on the floor are usually two different repairs, and both are cheaper than they look. Inside, it is nearly always the defrost drain iced over. Underneath, it is the drain pan, a water line connection, or ice that has been melting somewhere it should not.

Look at the back of the freezer floor
Ice building there says the defrost drain, and that is the whole diagnosis.

It should be damp, not overflowing. A cracked pan is a real and cheap cause of floor water.

Inside the cabinet, look at the freezer floor first
A defrost drain that has iced over sends its meltwater into the cabinet instead of the drain pan, and it collects under the crisper drawers where nobody looks until it reaches the floor. The give-away is ice building along the back of the freezer floor. Clearing the drain is a small job and it is the answer far more often than a leaking water line is.
Inside and underneath are different repairs
It is worth separating them before anybody comes out, because the causes barely overlap. Water inside the cabinet has almost always come from the defrost system. Water on the floor has come from the drain pan, the supply line or the icemaker. Telling us which you have makes the visit shorter.
Why the drain ices in the first place
Every defrost cycle melts frost that has to run out through a small drain at the back of the freezer floor. In a humid house there is more of it, and if the drain heater or the drain itself is not clearing, that water refreezes at the mouth. From then on each cycle adds to the ice and sends its water into the cabinet.
A GE refrigerator leaking water is nearly always one of two stories, and they are different repairs: water inside the cabinet has come from the defrost drain, and water on the floor has come from the drain pan, the supply line or the icemaker.

How urgent is water under the crisper?
Not an emergency, but do not leave it. A drain that is icing is telling you about the defrost system, and that ends with a warm refrigerator eventually.
Can I clear the drain myself?
Sometimes, with warm water and patience, and it is worth trying. If it ices again within weeks, the drain heater or the defrost circuit is the actual problem.
