GE oven element replacement
The oven will not heat but the cooktop works — the most useful sentence a customer can say, because it separates the two circuits immediately. On an electric range or wall oven this is usually the bake element, the sensor or the control relay, and GE's own troubleshooting walks the same path.

What this job costs and how it is agreed
A starting figure, not a quote. What moves it is the model, how the unit is built in and which part it needs — settled after the on-site diagnostic.

How this visit actually goes
The same order every time, so nothing is opened and nothing is charged before you have seen the figure and said yes.
-
01
Confirm the circuit, not just the symptom
Both elements tested — bake and broil — because one working and one not is itself the diagnosis.
-
02
Measure rather than look
An element that has failed without a visible break is common, and a visible break is not always what stopped the heat.
-
03
Check the sensor and the relay
An oven that heats then quits, or overshoots, is a sensor or control story rather than an element one.
-
04
Fit and measure the recovery
Time to temperature and stability at it, against the setting, before we leave.
-
05
Time to temperature, measured
And stability once it arrives, against the setting. An oven that reaches temperature and cannot hold it has a different problem from one that never arrives.

Electric · gas · induction · dual fuel · double oven GE range repair in Miami
Freestanding and slide-in ranges in every fuel GE sells: electric, gas, induction and dual fuel, single and double oven. This is the appliance that reports itself most clearly — GE publishes a table of the codes a range displays — and also the one where the display is most often misread, because half those codes point at the same circuit.
- Electric, gas, induction and dual fuel
- GE publishes a code table for these — we read it, not guess
- Self-clean is behind a surprising share of the calls

Single · double · microwave combination · Advantium GE wall oven repair in Miami
Built-in wall ovens, single and double, plus the microwave combination units and Advantium. The repair differs from a range in one way that decides every visit: a wall oven is built into joinery, so access is planned rather than assumed, and a unit that has to come out comes out with the cabinetry taken into account.
- Single, double, combination and Advantium
- Access through joinery is planned before the visit
- Same code table as ranges, plus Advantium's own

About GE oven element replacement
What a working cooktop already tells us
On a range where the cooktop still works, the supply to the appliance is fine and the problem is inside the oven circuit. That narrows it to three parts with three different prices: the element itself, the temperature sensor, and the relay on the control. Visible damage on an element is conclusive, and a blistered or parted element is common enough to be worth a look before booking. Where nothing is visible the circuit is measured rather than replaced part by part.

Questions about GE oven element replacement
The oven does not heat but the burners work.
Then the appliance has power and the problem is the oven circuit. That is a much better starting position than it feels like.
Can I see if the element has gone?
Often. A blister, a break or a bright scorch mark is conclusive. An element that looks perfect can still be open, which is what the meter is for.
